You can show/hide this window from More Settings button in Effect Properties Tab. This button is only available when you select Pan/Zoom/Rotate effect.
Using this effect settings window, you can customize a Pan/Zoom/Rotate effect by specifying how much rotation, zoom. You can also make animate the alpha/transparency.
For your convenience, you can leave this window opened while accessing the rest of the user interface, playing back and stopping the movie, etc. Making it possible for you quickly find the right effect settings by repeatedly making a modification in this window and click the play button to see the changes.
The effect settings window is also kept opened when you select other object which uses the same Pan/Zoom/Rotate effect, making it possible to rapidly modify effect settings from several object.
Lock Scale
When checked, this will lock the horizontal and vertical scale and you will not be able to modify the vertical scale.
ScaleX
When we are editing Show effect, you can select the horizontal scale mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The effect will show the object using the original horizontal scale. |
| • | From 0%: The effect will show the object with 0% horizontal scale and gradually increases to 100% |
| • | From ...: The effect will show the object with the horizontal scale value you specified and gradually increases/decreases to 100% |
When we are editing Exit effect, you can select the horizontal scale mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The object will stop the effect using the original horizontal scale. |
| • | To 0%: The effect will show the object with 100% horizontal scale and gradually decreases to 0% |
| • | To ...: The effect will show the object with 100% horizontal scale and gradually increases/decreases to the value you specified |
ScaleY
When we are editing Show effect, you can select the vertical scale mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The effect will show the object using the original vertical scale. |
| • | From 0%: The effect will show the object with 0% vertical scale and gradually increases to 100% |
| • | From ...: The effect will show the object with the vertical scale value you specified and gradually increases/decreases to 100% |
Note that when you lock the horizontal and vertical scale, you will not be able to modify the vertical scale value.
When we are editing Exit effect, you can select the scale mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The object will stop the effect using the original scale. |
| • | To 0%: The effect will show the object with 100% scale and gradually decreases to 0% |
| • | To ...: The effect will show the object with 100% scale and gradually increases/decreases to the value you specified |
Rotation
When we are editing Show effect, you can select the rotation mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The effect will show the object using the original rotation. |
| • | From 0, From 90, From 180: At the start of the effect, the object will show with the rotation angle of 0/90/180 and gradually to the current rotation value. |
| • | From ...: The effect will show the object from rotation angle of the value you specified and gradually increases/decreases to the current rotation value. |
| • | Offset By ...: The effect will show the object from a rotation angle of the current rotation value plus the offset you specified and gradually increases/decreases to the current rotation value. |
When we are editing Exit effect, you can select the rotation mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The effect will show the object using the original rotation. |
| • | To 0, To 90, To 180: At the start of the effect, the object will show at a current rotation value and gradually increases/decreases to 0/90/180. |
| • | To ...: The effect will show the object from the current rotation value and gradually increases/decreases to the value you specified. |
| • | Offset By ...: The effect will show the object from the current rotation value and gradually increases/decreases to the current rotation value plus the offset you specified. |
X Offset
When we are editing Show effect, you can select the X offset mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The object will not move horizontally. |
| • | From ...: The effect will show the object from a horizontal position you specified and gradually increases/decreases to the current horizontal position value. |
| • | Offset By ...: The effect will show the object from a current horizontal position plus the offset you specified and gradually increases/decreases to the current horizontal position value. |
When we are editing Exit effect, you can select the X offset mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The object will not move vertically. |
| • | To ...: The effect will show the object from current horizontal position to the value you specified. |
| • | Offset By ...: The effect will show the object from current horizontal position to the current horizontal position plus the offset you specified. |
Y Offset
When we are editing Show effect, you can select the Y offset mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The object will not move vertically. |
| • | From ...: The effect will show the object from a vertical position you specified and gradually increases/decreases to the current vertical position value. |
| • | Offset By ...: The effect will show the object from a current vertical position plus the offset you specified and gradually increases/decreases to the current vertical position value. |
When we are editing Exit effect, you can select the Y offset mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The object will not move vertically. |
| • | To ...: The effect will show the object from current vertical position to the value you specified. |
| • | Offset By ...: The effect will show the object from current vertical position to the current vertical position plus the offset you specified. |
Alpha
When we are editing Show effect, you can select the alpha mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The object alpha will not changed during the effect. |
| • | From 0%,100%: The effect will show the object from an alpha value of 0/100 and gradually increases/decreases to the current alpha value. |
| • | From ...: The effect will show the object from an alpha value you specified and gradually increases/decreases to the current alpha value. |
| • | Offset By ...: The effect will show the object from the current alpha value plus the offset you specified and gradually increases/decreases to the current alpha value. |
When we are editing Exit effect, you can select the alpha mode from:
| • | Unchanged: The object alpha will not changed during the effect. |
| • | To 0%,100%: The effect will show the object from the current alpha value and gradually increases/decreases to the alpha value of 0/100. |
| • | To ...: The effect will show the object from the current alpha value and gradually increases/decreases to the value you specified. |
| • | Offset By ...: The effect will show the object from the current alpha value to the current alpha value plus the offset you specified. |
Ease In
The effect ease in/acceleration ranging from -100 to 100. -100 causes the effect to get faster reaching the end while 100 causes the opposite effect.
