Play after To change the sound playback mode. There are two playback modes to choose:
Play for To set how long the sound should play. Click on
Loop To enable/disable the sound loop
Volume To set the sound volume
Synchronized sound To enable/disable a synchronization. When enabled, the sound will synchronize perfectly with the animation. What it means is, a 50 seconds long sound will stop exactly at 50th second, making it possible to synchronize it with object timing. Consider this situation: you have a music with an explosive drum beat at 30th second. When the explosive drum beat occurred, you want to show a "Boom" text. In this situation you set the "Boom" text Show time to 30 second and enable the synchronization so that the 30th second of the sound will play exactly when the "Boom" text is showing. Without synchronization, the sound may be late or too soon by a few second.
A synchronized sound will also pause whenever a timeline is paused. You can also pause/rename a synchronized sound by using interactivity/action. The only benefit of using a non synchronized sound is if you do not want the sound to pause when the scene is paused.
Stop at scene When checked, the sound will stop at the end of the scene. Otherwise it will keep playing. This is a very handy feature to add a background music for your movie which plays across scenes. Note that at one time there can only be one sound (that does not stop at scene) playing. The next sound (which does not stop at scene) will override the currently playing sound. |
